[July 1th, 2015] Korea.com, the global Hallyu portal, has won the highest award in the sports and entertainment category of the Korea SNS Industry Awards. Korea.com was recognized for its achievement as the No.1 Hallyu portal, providing Korean entertainment contents worldwide since 2010 through its English and Chinese websites, as well as sharing contents through 6 different platforms including Facebook, Weibo, Twitter and YouTube.

Korea.com offers popular Korean contents on topics such as Korean drama, K-Pop and movies that are either self-generated or created in partnership. Generally within the highly intrusive SNS environment where usage of unauthorized contents and violation of copyrights is common, Korea.com is an exemplary portal providing SNS services through its reliable contents channels.

Korea.com has over 2.34 million fans on its Facebook page (facebook.com/KoreaDotCom). According to quintly (quintly.com), a social media analytics, Korea.com ranked 50th place among global entertainment websites, while placing the no. 1 among domestic entertainment websites. Also, Korea.com noted that the popularity of its contents is very high as 23 international supporters voluntarily share the contents through their own SNS.
