Gyeongbuk
City Gas has supplied gas to the Gyeongbuk region (North Gyeongsang
Province) including all of Andong City and Yeongju City since
its establishment in 1993. It currently supplies 35,000 households.
Gyeongbuk City Gas has received numerous awards including one
for its gas safety model from the Korea Gas Safety Corporation
(1998) and another, the ¡°City Gas Company Award of Excellence,¡±
from the Korea Gas Corporation (2004). Gyeongbuk City Gas was
also commended for its gas safety model by the Ministry of Knowledge
Economy and received certification for its ¡°Non-disaster Six
Fold Achievement¡± from The Korea Occupational Safety and Health
Agency (2007). Gyeongbuk City Gas is committed to lowering costs
and providing a safer, natural energy source for residents in
the northern Gyeongbuk region as well as expanding and improving
its services.
