Daesung Institute for Clean Energy
(DICE) started out in 1992 as a division within Taegu City Gas
dedicated to research and development. Expanded into a research
center in 2002, through research and development in the field
of new and renewable energy as well as new businesses and gas
application technology, the institute is opening new doors for
Korea, a country of which 97% of its energy depends on importation.
DICE is also carrying out its social responsibilities by proving
the excellence of energy technologies in cell fuel, wind, solar
and LFG businesses. The GEEP project in Mongolia and the Mandakh
Soum project are good examples of how Daesung Group¡¯s advanced
technology is being used for the global public good. In addition,
by leveraging new businesses such as RDF and CCP, the company
is forming a healthy base for the further growth of Daesung
Group as a total energy group both at home and abroad.
